Due to its impurity the death toll resulted by the consumption of Heroin is comparatively higher than other drugs. Heroin is also smuggled and distributed by the same notorious Columbium and Dominican drug traffickers.

After Cocaine and Heroin, Marijuana is the most easily available drug in the state. But unlike Cocaine and Heroin, the drug prevention body has been successful to an extent in preventing the trafficking of Marijuana in the state. During the year 2007, a whopping 279.2kgs of Marijuana was seized by the Federal Agencies.

Club drugs such as, MDMA and Ketamine are widely used in parties and nightclubs. Youths are said to be the prime target of these types of drugs. MDMA is available in most of the colleges in the state. This is the place from where most cases of drug abuse originates.
